Effective date: 30 July 2026 · Version: 2026-07-30
AUHUA Services Pty Ltd (AUHUA Services, we, us or our) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information submitted through this website and in related project-enquiry communications.
Personal information we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect your name, business name, phone number, WhatsApp number or email address, preferred contact method, suburb or postcode, requested service, project type, timing preferences and the details you provide about the proposed work. We may also collect photos, drawings, PDFs and other files that you choose to upload.
Our website systems may collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the date and time of a request.
How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you use the enquiry form, automated project guide, telephone or another communication channel. We may also receive information from a person authorised to enquire on behalf of a business, property owner or project team.
Why we use information
We use personal information to receive and assess enquiries, identify the relevant AUHUA service area, arrange human follow-up, discuss site and access requirements, maintain project correspondence, protect the website from misuse and meet legal or record-keeping obligations. The automated project guide organises the answers you provide; it does not issue a binding quote, approve a project or analyse uploaded images with an AI image-recognition model.
Disclosure of information
We may disclose information to authorised AUHUA personnel and service providers that support website hosting, file storage, email delivery, security, professional advice or project administration. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law. We do not sell personal information.
Some technology providers may process or store information outside Australia depending on their infrastructure. Where an overseas disclosure occurs, we will take reasonable steps required by applicable Australian privacy law.
Storage, security and retention
Website enquiries and attachments are stored in access-controlled systems. We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, project administration, legal obligations, dispute handling and legitimate business records. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable.
Access and correction
You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request a correction if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If access or correction cannot be provided, we will explain the reason where required by law.
Privacy questions and complaints
For a privacy question, access or correction request, or complaint, contact Andy on 0431 289 603 or email auhuaservices@gmail.com. Please explain the issue and provide a reliable way for us to respond. We will review the request and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services or information-handling practices change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
